week Five! How are we already 5 weeks in?!?
Monday was a walk in the park in comparison to the rest of the week. Cannons reading still amazes me!
Tuesday Molly didn’t have work and tennis got called on account of rain but Cannon had some issues with his teeth and we ended up spending the afternoon watching banned episodes of bluey.
We met up with friends on Wednesday afternoon at the fortis playground and had such a great time! Molly got to hang with Anna at her house and the boys found classmates from last year to spend time playing and laughing with. It was a great time.
Thursday we celebrated Back to Hogwarts day with a full schedule of games, movies, audiobooks, yummy treats, music, meals and decor.
We then met up with our Celebrations Homeschool Club at Garey park. The kids played and ran and got sweaty with friends. Then we dissected owl Pellets since we’d read “owls in the family”. Our next book is ZAP and the kids are excited since they hated owls In the family so Much. The event got cut short though bc Mallory fell and her teeth went through her lip. It was Our second trip to urgent care in one day. I’m glad we got our Garey Park pass though. It will be great to
Play there more frequently.
Friday is baking and pageant day for molly. We’re all so excited for the parade and street dance for the oatmeal festival.
Friday was spent low key hanging around until it was time for the pageant. Molly did fabulously and got 1st runner up in her age group. Her cookies, bread and cobbler turned out perfect but the cobbler didn’t make it to judging. Molly fell in the mud while carrying it in and it hit the ground. She did however win first place for her bread!
