This was one of those
Weeks that didnt look
Like school but 100% was.
We had 2 meetups. One with the Bertram HS club that was an international pot
Luck. Lots of
Fun but probably not our group of people.
We also had our meet up for Celebrations HS Group and of course it was loads of fun with friends we love. Even though neither of us finished our book for the month. Needless to say we’re starting October’s book EARLY.
Molly had cheer camp for the Austin royals with her sweet friend Maddie. They even cheered at the game on Friday night! The boys had tennis an cannon won “graduation”. Everyone had church on Wednesday night and Callie rode along with us. Overall I’m thrilled to hear about them sharing with others about what they learned while we were at the Ark.
Cannon had 2 teeth pulled. OH. MY. WORD. they were huge baby teeth.
Our classroom is nearly FINISHED! Floors
Went down today and A/C went in last night. Finishing touches should be done by the end of the month and move in starts 10/3.
Before we left for KY I ordered a DRA kit to do a
Quick check of where the kids are as far as an actual reading level. Cannon shocked me with a 14. Casons at a 2 and Mollys rockin a 70. Proud of these guys!!!
I made a decision to pretext
Cannon on his next few chapters after he passed his cumulative assessment with a perfect 100%. He scored perfectly on his +/- numbers to 20 u it’s so I’m moving him along to Shapes. Mollys starting Logic problems next week. Casons working on length and we’re all starting our unit on Monkeys and Ancient Egypt. It turned into a perfect natural break for us this week.
